Did we miss something here? I don’t get it. Is this ad assuming that John McCains brilliant choice of Sarah Palin is somehow bad judgment? McCain might not be a great economist and neither is Obama. It’s who you surround yourself with as an economic advisor. I think Mitt Romney would be better for McCain than Franklin Raines was for Obama, considering Raines made 91 million as he ran Freddie-Fannie into the ground. Look who Obama surrounds himself with, the list of radicals, felons and terrorists goes on and on. Real great judgment Barack! The best part of this, look who Obama picked as VP; Joe Biden!

Sarah Palin is the only one on the entire ticket with executive experience as she was a mayor and governor.

Sarah Palin has been accused of several things that have all been proven to be false.

Sarah Palin had an 86% approval rate and a surplus in her state.

Gov. Palin is a proven fiscal conservative who used her line-item veto to slash hundreds of millions of dollars in spending from the state budget. In considering this accomplishment, keep in mind that the Alaska Legislature is controlled by the GOP, meaning that the funding she cut had already been approved by legislators of her own party. Nevertheless, she made her vetoes stick. Consider, too, that because of the current high price of crude oil, Alaska is enjoying record budget surpluses. It’s harder to practice restraint in times of plenty. And look at her entire record over time (more than as revealed by her position on a single bridge): Although Alaska has traditionally been more dependent than other states on federal funding (since the federal government owns such a large portion of the state’s property and resources), even the often-critical Anchorage Daily News admits that Gov. Palin has “increasingly distanced herself from earmarking” since 2000, and that her having done so over the past year has been “the leading source of tension between Palin and the state’s three-member congressional delegation.” Actually exercising fiscal discipline in a time of plenty, at both state and federal levels and against the will of the members of her own party, is a better predictor for how she would actually govern on a national level than ten thousand campaign promises.

Gov. Palin kept her campaign promise to revamp the state’s pre-existing severance tax on oil & gas production, replacing a structure negotiated behind closed doors by ethically challenged predecessors and the big energy companies with one negotiated in full public view — and then rebated part of the resulting surplus directly to tax-payers. Severance taxes are a kind of property tax charged on a one-time basis, at the time of production, on subsurface assets (like oil, gas & minerals) which can’t be quantified and taxed through regular property taxes. There was widespread resentment and distrust over the version negotiated by Gov. Palin’s predecessor with the three big energy companies who’ve traditionally ruled the roost in Alaska (ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, and BP). The new version negotiated and passed with Gov. Palin’s support was thoroughly disinfected by the sunshine of public scrutiny. Although it’s not a “windfall profits tax” — indeed, the base rate only went from 22.5% to 25% — it did permit the Alaskan people to share in a larger portion of the current high prices for oil by raising the additional, progressive portion of the tax from 0.25% to 0.40% on revenues between $32.50 and $90/bbl. Above that, however, the new law actually cut taxes by dropping the rate on revenues above $90/bbl to 0.1%. With the resulting budget surplus, after contributing to the state’s fund for that future day when its oil & gas wealth is exhausted, she pressed for and got legislation to rebate a healthy chunk directly to tax-payers on a per capita basis, trusting them to spend the proceeds from this sale of the state’s commonly-owned resources rather than trusting government to spend it for them.

Gov. Palin broke a multi-year stalemate over the financing and construction of a $40 billion cross-state gas pipeline that will deliver cleaner, cheaper natural gas to Alaska’s own population centers (Alaskans themselves pay some of the nation’s highest energy prices), while also delivering gas to the energy-hungry Lower 48. To do this, she had to break the monopoly power of the big energy companies by opening the project to competitive international bidding. Not only has a development contract with a Canadian company now been signed on better terms than had previously been discussed, but the former monopolists — finally spurred by competition — are cranking up their own plan that would not require any taxpayer investment. How precisely this will shake out remains to be seen, but Gov. Palin’s vigorous action — calling special sessions of the state legislature and injecting herself directly and vigorously into the process — has ended the deadlock in ways that seem certain to benefit consumers. By this accomplishment, Gov. Palin has done more to advance the cause of American energy independence than any other politician — of any party, and at any level of state or federal government — in this century. But the national media have generally ignored this accomplishment.

It’s no accident that Gov. Palin remains immensely popular in her home state, notwithstanding the widespread derision of the national elites. Her actual accomplishments in office are vastly disproportionate to her time spent in office, but her constituents value the results she’s gotten.

And isn’t that what we want? Should we want politicians who have been in office a long time without getting anything done? Should we want the kind of “wisdom” shown by Slow Joe Biden, who opposed the nominations of both Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Alito, and who proposed that we subdivide Iraq into three parts (each to be dominated by a different foreign interest)? Should we prefer someone like Barack Obama in the top job as POTUS, even though he has no longer tenure than Gov. Palin and conspicuously fewer actual accomplishments?

Let’s look at Barack Obama’s judgment;

Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko, Khalidi, Wright, Father Pfleger, Lou Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson Jr, Bernadine Dohrn, Frank Marshall Davis, Odinga, requesting 900 million in earmarks in less than 3 years in the senate, voting present, except when it came to lower taxes, where he voted 94 times against lowering taxes. He has sick abortion views, doesn’t know how many states we have, yet he wants to change America and the world, constantly lies every time he speaks and funds and encourages voter fraud through ACORN…

Hmmm..I don’t know..this is such a tough decision! What should i do, vote for the community agitator who never held a real job, never accomplished anything except stapling fliers to telephone poles and studied constitutional law, so he can try and manipulate the constitution? Or should I vote for a very nice, honest mother, buisness owner and successful governor who is one of us? I trust Sarah Palin to do what is best for ALL Americans. If anyone still thinks Barack Obama has learned to hold women in high regard, think again.
I mean between giving Hillary the finger , talking about Hillary having mood swings as a result of PMS and referring to Sarah Palin as a Pig and a Fish, Barack Obama has sunk to a new low by having Jay-Z, an artist who publicly called Sarah Palin a Bitch just last week to headline a major campaign event in Cleveland.

According to MTV here is what Jay-Z said:

… Without naming names, Jay dedicated “99 Problems” to John McCain and a certain “homegirl,” whom he described as “the one who says ‘You betcha.’ “

“I’m gonna get in trouble for this,” Jay laughed on stage, “but f— it, this is freedom of speech.”

Hmmm….Jay Z or Sarah Palin? Who would be a better neighbor, a better parent, a better politician, a better anything. I think Jay Z is racist and dislikes Sarah because she is white. That’s what I think. Too bad guilty white coward liberals have no spine, no pride or self respect.

Democrats, between sniggers of derision and snorts of disgust, contend that Sarah Palin, John McCain’s vice-presidential pick is ridiculously unqualified to be president.

It’s a reasonable objection on its face except for this small objection: it surely needs to be weighed against the Democrats’ claim that their own candidate for president is self-evidently ready to assume the role of most powerful person on the planet.

At first blush, here’s what we know about the relative experience of the two candidates. Both are in their mid-forties and have held statewide elective office for less than four years. Both have admitted to taking illegal drugs in their youth.

So much for the similarities. How about the differences?

Political experience

Obama: Worked his way to the top by cultivating, pandering to and stroking the most powerful interest groups in the all-pervasive Chicago political machine, ensuring his views were aligned with the power brokers there.

Palin: Worked her way to the top by challenging, attacking and actively undermining the Republican party establishment in her native Alaska. She ran against incumbent Republicans as a candidate willing and able to clean the Augean Stables of her state’s government.

Political Biography

Obama: A classic, if unusually talented, greasy-pole climber. Held a succession of jobs that constitute the standard route to the top in his party’s internal politics: “community organizer”, law professor, state senator.

Palin:A woman with a wide range of interests in a well-variegated life. Held a succession of jobs - sports journalist, commercial fisherwoman, state oil and gas commissioner, before entering local politics. A resume that suggests something other than burning political ambition from the cradle but rather the sort of experience that enables her to understand the concerns of most Americans..

Political history

Obama: Elected to statewide office only after a disastrous first run for a congressional seat and after his Republican opponent was exposed in a sexual scandal. Won seat eventually in contest against a candidate who didn’t even live in the state.

Palin: Elected to statewide office by challenging a long-serving Republican incumbent governor despite intense opposition from the party.

Appeal

Obama: A very attractive speaker whose celebrity has been compared to that of Britney Spears and who sends thrills up Chris Matthews’ leg

Palin: A very attractive woman, much better-looking than Britney Spears who speaks rather well too. She sends thrills up the leg of Rush Limbaugh (and me).

Executive experience

Obama: Makes executive decisions every day that affect the lives of his campaign staff and a vast crowd of traveling journalists

Palin:Makes executive decisions every day that affect the lives of 500,000 people in her state, and that impact crucial issues of national economic interest such as the supply and cost of energy to the United States.

Religious influences

Obama: Regards people who “cling” to religion and guns as “bitter” . Spent 20 years being mentored and led spiritually by a man who proclaimed “God damn America” from his pulpit. Mysteriously, this mentor completely disappeared from public sight about four months ago.

Palin: Head of her high school Fellowship of Christian Athletes and for many years a member of the Assemblies of God congregation whose preachers have never been known to accuse the United States of deliberately spreading the AIDS virus. They remain in full public sight and can be seen every Sunday in churches across Alaska. A proud gun owner who has been known to cling only to the carcasses of dead caribou felled by her own aim.

Record of bipartisan achievement

Obama: Speaks movingly of the bipartisanship needed to end the destructive politics of “Red America” and “Blue America”, but votes in the Senate as a down-the-line Democrat, with one of the most liberal voting records in congress.

Palin: Ridiculed by liberals such as John Kerry as a crazed, barely human, Dick Cheney-type conservative but worked wit Democrats in the state legislature to secure landmark anti-corruption legislation.

Former state Rep. Ethan Berkowitz - a Democrat - said. “Gov. Palin has made her name fighting corruption within her own party, and I was honored when she stepped across party lines and asked me to co-author her ethics white paper.”

On Human Life

Obama: Devoutly pro-choice. Voted against a bill in the Illinois state senate that would have required doctors to save the lives of babies who survived abortion procedures. The implication of this position is that babies born prematurely during abortions would be left alone, unnourished and unmedicated, until they died.

Palin: Devoutly pro-life. Exercised the choice proclaimed by liberals to bring to full term a baby that had been diagnosed in utero with Down Syndrome.

Now it’s true there are other crucial differences. Sen Obama has appeared on Meet The Press every other week for the last four years. He has been the subject of hundreds of adoring articles in papers and newsweeklies and TV shows and has written two Emmy-award winning books.

Gov Palin has never appeared on Meet the Press, never been on the cover of Newsweek. She presumably feels that, as a mother of five children married to a snowmobile champion, who also happens to be the first woman and the youngest person ever to be elected governor of her state, she has not really done enough yet to merit an autobiography.

Then again, I’m willing to bet that if she had authored The Grapes of Wrath, sung like Edith Piaf and composed La Traviata , she still wouldn’t have won an Emmy.

Fortunately, it will be up to the American people and not their self-appointed leaders in Hollywood and New York to determine who really has the better experience to be president.

On yesterday’s Situation Room, CNN’s Drew Griffin completely mischaracterized the nature of a “quote” from National Review’s Byron York during his interview with Alaskan Republican Governor and Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

Griffin said to Gov. Palin: “Governor, you’ve been mocked in the press, the press has been pretty hard on you, the Democrats have been pretty hard on you, but also some conservatives have been pretty hard on you as well. The National Review had a story saying that, you know, ‘I can’t tell if Sarah Palin is incompetent, stupid, unqualified, corrupt or all of the above.’”

This is a complete distortion, a falsehood. The full quote from the National Review’s Byron York shows he was in fact dressing down the media, NOT Gov. Palin. “Watching press coverage of the Republican candidate for vice president, it’s sometimes hard to decide whether Sarah Palin is incompetent, stupid, unqualified, corrupt, backward, or - or, well, all of the above.”

CNN (MSNBC) do things like this on purpose because they know that 40% of the people in the country are now technically ‘idiots’ and will just believe it without following up on it. When CNN, ABC and MSNBC report something, being they have no credibility for pathetic journalism and coverage of the candidates, you should be researching information. If the media was doing their job, Obama would not even be in the race. He is pulling off the best con job in American history with the help of the media and misinformed, uneducated Americans.

It is amazing how the pro-Obama media has gone haywire in reporting the latest Troopergate findings coming from Alaska as some sort of indictment of Sarah Palin.

As has been made abundantly clear in this election, Obama and his cronies in the media keep on using a strategy of “shoot first, ask questions later”, they did it with Hillary, now they are doing it against Sarah.

If you are not going to understand anything else I write about this issue, please understand the next few paragraphs.

Democratic state senator and staunch Barack Obama supporter Hollis French of Alaska boasted in early September that he would provide an “October Surprise” which would upset the McCain-Palin campaign. Indeed, he originally planned to time it for October 31, four days before the election, for maximum impact, until other legislators forced him to abandon that particular strategy.

Yesterday French gave it his very best shot: The investigator he hired and directed, Steve Branchflower, has labored mightily and given birth to a bloated and redundant 263-page report which boils down Branchflower’s guess as to whether Gov. Palin has done anything improper.

Firstly, here is what his most important finding was:

I find that, although Walt Monegan’s refusal to fire Trooper Michael Wooten was not the sole reason he was fired by Governor Sarah Palin, it was likely a contributing factor to his termination as Commissioner of Public Safety. In spite of that, Governor Palin’s firing of Commissioner Monegan was a proper and lawful exercise of her constitutional and statutory authority to hire and fire executive branch department heads.

Secondly, Sarah or Todd Palin never asked anyone to fire Wooten, as admitted by Walt Monegan himself:

“For the record, no one ever said fire Wooten. Not the governor. Not Todd. Not any of the other staff,” Monegan said Friday from Portland. “What they said directly was more along the lines of ‘This isn’t a person that we would want to be representing our state troopers.’”

Thirdly, Monegan himself was never fired, he was reassigned to other government duties. Monegan chose to resign rather than work in a capacity he did not want to work in.

Ultimately, the Branchflower Report is nothing but a series of insupportable conclusions drawn by exactly one guy, and it has not been approved, adopted or endorsed by so much as a single sub-committee of the Alaska Legislature which is currently not in session, much less any kind of commission, court, jury, or other proper adjudicatory body.

All that happened is the panel chaired by Hollis French received the report and voted to release it into the public domain as they were expected to do before the report was even written.

Incidentally, the report contains no new bombshells in terms of factual revelations. Just Steve Branchflower’s opinion that he thinks Gov. Palin had, at worst, mixed motives for an action that even Branchflower admits she unquestionably had both (a) the complete right to perform and (b) other very good reasons to perform.

So there you have it folks. Sarah Palin has not been found guilty of abusing power, has not been reprimanded for abusing power, has not been convicted, indicted or censured for abusing power. All that happened is an investigator hired by a partisan committee chair has reported his findings.

Democrats, and this applies to Democrats only. Most of us remember Ken Starr’s Whitewater Investigation against Bill and Hillary Clinton, most of us remember that it was nothing but a witchunt. Most of us spoke up against it then, and most of us should speak up against this now.

Moments after we posted that Sarah Palin getting booed at the Flyers Game had the smell of another incident where Obama supporters were organized to disrupt an event, interview or speech we found proof!

Well if this isn’t great journalism! What a big story! Palin booed by Obama supporters at hockey game in Philly. (Since when did radicals, liberals and sissies start watching hockey?) Did you forget that Obama’s dirty Chicago Politics can also work in Philly where all his ACORN Voter Fraud Offices are set up? Maybe the millions he tried to earmark from you, the taxpayer, went to paying people to go to a hockey game to boo the VP candidate. That is the ‘change’ these idiots want, isn’t it? For all the fans that stood up and cheered loud for Palin, drowning out all the ObamaMorons, you are true Americans and we thank you! As for Obama, make sure the ACORN workers get paid so they’re not protesting for their pay like they were a few weeks ago after Obamas people stiffed them after all those long hard hours in the library going through the phone books registering voters! I would say this is a no brainer. Abuse of power for letting the hubby use the phone in the governers office to recommend getting rid of an idiot state trooper who admitted tasering his 11 year old kid who is Palins nephew, drinking beer in a patrol car and illegally killing a moose, but threatening to kill Sarahs parents at the same time is just fine with most Americans. It’s funny to me that when a guy commits armed robbery, carjacks a person, leads police on a 30 mile high speed chase crashing into cars almost killing innocent bystanders, crashes himself and bails out of the car, starts running and then the cops taser him, what do the liberals do? * Supporting a candidate who claims to represent “hope and change” yet requested over 900 million dollars in earmarks for radical associates and convicted felons. This in only 2 years! Yes, this makes you an idiot and it isn’t just an opinion. Supporting a candidate who voted against warnings on the housing market and took the 2nd highest amount of campaign contributions from the very same organizations that drove us into a recession makes you an idiot. Supporting a candidate whose economic advisor is Franklin Raines, the man who ran Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae into the ground while making 91 million dollars in 6 years, makes you an idiot.

* Supporting a candidate who attends one the most popular black liberation theology churches in America, makes you an idiot.(especially if you are white) Supporting a candidate that says he doesn’t want his daughters “punished” with kids, makes you an idiot. Supporting a candidate who constantly lies, flip flops on every issue,(depending who he is talking to) thinks there is 57 states, has sick views on abortion, votes present in senate (except for over 90 times when he was for tax increases) requested marxist professors in college and won’t release his college transcripts, makes you an idiot.

* Supporting a candidate who says “A white mans need, runs a world in greed” makes you an idiot. Especially if you are a white man.

* Supporting a candidate who earmarked millions for his so-called non-profit hospital, giving his wife a six figure raise and turning away poor people with no insurance, while terroizing them with collection agencies, makes you an idiot.

* Voting for Barack Obama because you think he is charasmatic, articulate, clean, handsome, fresh or because he is (half) black, makes you an idiot. Yes, it does.

* Supporting a candidate whose only experience is a community agitator (see “ACORN”) freshman senator who votes present because he can’t make a decision and jive talks his way through speeches with lies and no substance, makes you an idiot.

I can go on forever about the worse presidential candidate in the history of America. I can come up with about 100 more reasons this guy spells DISASTER FOR AMERICA. You think it’s bad now, you just wait if Barack Obama gets elected.

We’ve seen countless Internet and e-mail claims that Sarah Palin forced women to pay for their own forensic testing when reporting a rape. Unlike some claims about Palin, this one has some merit, though Palin’s precise role is unclear. Here’s the story:

In 2000, complaints about this practice in rural cities including Wasilla prompted the Alaska Legislature to pass a bill preventing alleged victims of sexual assault from being billed for forensic tests. It was signed into law by then-Gov. Tony Knowles. Palin had been the mayor of Wasilla for four years at the time, and a local paper reported that the Wasilla police chief, Charlie Fannon, defended the practice, saying he had billed women and their insurance companies for these tests rather than placing a “burden” on taxpayers:

Smooth talker Joe Biden just couldn’t get out of the past or who voted for what, but Sarah Palin shined! Chris Matthews didn’t get a “tingly feeling” up his leg like he does when Barack Obama speaks. Maybe it has to do with his sexuality, I don’t know why he could only harp over and over about the role of Vice President and what the constitution says about the VP job. Maybe that’s the problem Chris, that the VP needs a bigger role keeping an eye on the crooked corrupt thieves in the congress and senate you jackass. She is one of us. Biden lied several times and if you watch it and research, you will see that for yourself.

As for Maddow, she got wet, but it wasn’t over Palin doing well. The fang sporting, snaggle tooth, angry lesbian was so mad that she did well, she tried using weak talking points as usual, instead of just reporting the debate without bias. Thank god for Pat Buchanan, the only honest one on the panel might of exxaggerated about Palin “mopping the floor” with Biden. He meant that as compared to what people were expecting, as in the deer in headlights rumors. Well, she did really good and she was believeable. She was feisty and likable. So deal with it. I am sure Keith Olberfag is scrambling around, reaching to find something he can insult. Well Keith, I suggest you cut your show down to about 10 minutes sissy boy. I gotta go back to FOX where we just found out that 90% of undecided voters like Sarah Palin.
Next time Sarah, a little advice…hammer the democrats for causing the economic collapse of America and how things started going wrong when Pelosi, Reid, Frank and Dodd allowed it. The democrats refusing to drill, causing higher gas prices for years to come. Their 9% approval rating and Joe Bidens nickname “pork.” And finally, George Bush is NOT running!
